So I’m trying to use my earbuds and the sound is only coming out of one side. This happens on every set of earbuds I have tried. it affects anything that plugs into the jack. Best answer: The X is the latest from Apple. It is not considered obsolete. They still sell 8s and 8+s from Verizon. Also obsolete by who's standards?
